Car fridge 15l manufacturers

When sourcing a 15L car fridge, prioritize the cooling technology, typically choosing between compressor-based (faster cooling, down to -20°C) and thermoelectric (cheaper, but only cools relative to ambient temperature). Ensure the unit features high-density polyurethane (PU) foam insulation for thermal retention and a low-noise motor (<45dB) for cabin comfort. Additionally, verify the DC 12V/24V and AC 100-240V compatibility to ensure versatility between vehicle and indoor use.

Look for models with 3-stage battery protection (Low, Medium, High) to prevent the fridge from draining the vehicle's starter battery. High-quality units should have an ECO mode for energy saving and a MAX mode for fast cooling. Check for Energy Star or ERP certifications to validate power consumption claims, which is critical for long-haul trucking or off-grid camping scenarios.

For the US market, ensure the product is ETL or UL listed and complies with FCC Part 15 for electromagnetic interference. For the EU, CE, RoHS, and GS certifications are mandatory. Since these devices contain refrigerants, confirm they use eco-friendly gases like R134a or R600a, which comply with global environmental regulations regarding ozone depletion.

The exterior should be constructed from impact-resistant ABS plastic or anti-corrosion coated metal. Look for reinforced corners, sturdy recessed handles, and a vibration-resistant design (capable of operating at up to a 30-degree incline) to handle rugged off-road conditions. A digital LED control panel with a locking function prevents accidental temperature changes during transit.

The biggest risks are compressor damage due to violent handling and refrigerant leakage. Always insist on ISTA 3A standard packaging (drop-tested) and ensure the units are shipped upright. On Made-in-China.com, you can utilize STS (Secure Trading Service) to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass quality inspection, mitigating the risk of receiving defective cooling systems.

For a 15L model, standard MOQs are often 50-100 units. To lower costs, negotiate based on annual volume rather than a single order. If you require OEM branding (logo printing/custom colors), ask for a pre-production sample and a video of the pull-down temperature test (measuring how long it takes to reach -20°C) to verify performance before mass production.

Car fridges are classified as sensitive cargo due to the compressor and magnetic motor. When shipping to the US or Europe, ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 report if the unit includes a built-in lithium battery. Using FOB (Free On Board) terms is recommended for bulk orders to maintain control over shipping costs and customs clearance through your own freight forwarder.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Review their Audit Reports specifically for their 'Production Capacity' and 'Quality Control' sections. Check if the supplier has a proven track record in the automotive electronics category to ensure they understand the specific durability requirements of vehicle-mounted appliances.
