Furniture polish spray manufacturers

When sourcing furniture polish, prioritize formulations that use natural waxes (like Carnauba or Beeswax) or high-grade silicone oils for a lasting shine. It is critical to ensure the product is VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) compliant to meet environmental regulations. For the US market, check for TSCA compliance, and for the EU, ensure the product meets REACH standards. Always request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to verify the absence of toxic solvents like benzene or formaldehyde.

Different surfaces require specific formulations. Aerosol sprays provide a quick, even mist for large areas, while liquid polishes are better for deep wood nourishment. Ensure the product offers UV protection to prevent wood fading and anti-static properties to repel dust. For high-end furniture, look for 'smudge-resistant' formulas that prevent oily fingerprints. You should request before-and-after testing videos or samples to check for residue buildup (waxy film) after multiple applications.

Since most sprays are pressurized aerosols, they are classified as Class 2.1 or 2.2 Dangerous Goods. Ensure the canisters are made of corrosion-resistant tinplate or aluminum with a burst pressure rating that meets UN38.3 or local DOT standards. The nozzle design is also vital; look for '360-degree spray' valves that allow the can to function at any angle, which is a significant selling point for professional cleaners.

Yes, most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM services. Key customization factors include fragrance selection (lemon, orange, and sandalwood are top sellers), canister volume (typically 250ml to 600ml), and label printing (CMYK lithography). Ensure the supplier can provide graphic design templates that include mandatory safety warnings and usage instructions in the destination country's language.

Aerosols are considered hazardous materials (HazMat) due to their flammability and pressure. You must work with a freight forwarder experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) shipping. Ensure the supplier provides a Dangerous Goods Declaration and uses UN-certified outer packaging (strong fiberboard boxes with dividers) to prevent accidental discharge or leakage during transit. Sea freight is the most economical method, as air freight for aerosols is extremely restricted and costly.

To mitigate risk, use Secured Trading services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. Never pay the full balance until a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) is completed by a third party like SGS or Intertek. The inspection should include a leakage test (hot water bath test) and a net weight verification to ensure canisters are properly filled and sealed.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers; chemical production is highly sensitive to scale, and ordering in full container loads (FCL) can reduce unit costs by 15-25% compared to LCL. Negotiate for free spare nozzles (usually 1-2% extra) to account for potential clogs. Also, ask for a price lock agreement for 6-12 months to protect your margins against fluctuations in raw material costs like tinplate or petroleum-based propellants.
