Glass oil bottles manufacturers

Prioritize High Borosilicate Glass or Soda-Lime Glass that is Lead-free and BPA-free. High borosilicate glass is preferred for its superior thermal shock resistance, allowing it to withstand temperature changes without cracking. Ensure the glass has high transparency and clarity to allow end-users to monitor oil levels and quality easily.

Look for an automatic flip-top lid or a gravity-sensing mechanism that allows for one-handed operation. The spout must feature an anti-drip or leak-proof design to prevent oil from running down the side of the bottle. Additionally, a silicone sealing ring is crucial to ensure an airtight environment, preventing oxidation and maintaining oil freshness.

For the US market, products must be FDA compliant regarding food contact surfaces. For the EU, they must adhere to LFGB (Lebensmittel- und Futtermittelgesetzbuch) standards and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004. Ensure the supplier can provide Third-party Lab Test Reports (such as from SGS or TUV) to verify the absence of heavy metals like lead and cadmium.

Check for a thickened bottom design to enhance stability and reduce the risk of breakage. The bottle shape should be ergonomically contoured or feature a non-slip texture for a secure grip even when hands are oily. For commercial use, verify if the glass is dishwasher safe to facilitate easy cleaning.

Request Drop Test Certified packaging. Suppliers should use Five-layer Corrugated Cartons with EPE foam or individual bubble wrap for each bottle. For bulk orders, insist on Palletization with Stretch Wrap to minimize handling shocks. It is highly recommended to purchase Marine Cargo Insurance to cover potential transit damages.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; typically, a 10-15% discount can be achieved when moving from a 500-unit MOQ to 2,000 units. Negotiate for Customized Logo Printing (Silk Screen or Decal) to be included in the unit price for large orders. Always request a Pre-production Sample to verify the mold precision and spout functionality before releasing the 30% deposit.

Utilize Secured Payment Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon confirmation of shipment. Conduct a Factory Audit or hire a third-party inspector to perform a During Production Check (DUPRO) and a Final Random Inspection (FRI) to ensure the defect rate is below the AQL 2.5/4.0 limit.

Be aware of Anti-dumping Duties that some regions (like the EU or USA) may impose on specific glassware categories from certain origins. Verify the HS Code (typically 7013.49) with your customs broker to calculate accurate Import Duties and VAT. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (Form A or Form E) to benefit from preferential tariff treatments if applicable.
