Hair remove cream manufacturers

The primary active ingredients are typically Potassium Thioglycolate or Calcium Thioglycolate, which break down keratin. B2B buyers must ensure the pH level is strictly controlled (usually between 11 and 12.5) to prevent chemical burns. It is essential to verify that the product complies with ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics) and has a complete Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to ensure consumer safety and legal sale.

Buyers should request dermatological test reports and focus on the inclusion of soothing agents like Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, or Bisabolol to counteract irritation. For different target markets, consider the hair type specialization (e.g., coarse hair vs. sensitive skin). A high-quality cream should demonstrate effective hair removal within 5–10 minutes without causing persistent erythema (redness).

Due to the reactive nature of thioglycolates, packaging must be airtight and light-resistant, typically using PE/AL multi-layer laminated tubes. The standard shelf life should be 24 to 36 months. Buyers should confirm that the supplier performs stability testing at high temperatures to ensure the formula doesn't separate during long-term sea freight transit.

Yes, most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer customization. This includes fragrance adjustment (to mask the natural sulfur scent), active ingredient concentration, and bespoke packaging design. Ensure the supplier provides COA (Certificate of Analysis) for every batch of customized formulations to maintain brand consistency.

Cosmetics are heavily regulated. For the US, products must adhere to FDA VCRP (Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program) guidelines and labeling requirements. For the EU, a Responsible Person (RP) must be appointed, and the product must be registered on the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal). Failure to provide a Product Information File (PIF) can lead to customs seizure.

Utilize Trade Terms that include third-party pre-shipment inspections. It is highly recommended to use the Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com to protect payments until the goods pass quality checks. Always request a production sample from the mass production run before the final balance is paid to ensure it matches the approved gold sample.

Hair removal creams are often classified as non-hazardous chemicals, but they still require an MSDS and a Certification for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. Ensure the cargo is stored in a cool, dry environment during transit; excessive heat in containers can degrade the active ingredients, rendering the product ineffective upon arrival.

Focus on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) vs. Unit Price trade-offs. For initial orders, negotiate a lower MOQ for multiple scents/variants to test the market. Ask for tiered pricing based on volume—typically, increasing an order from 5,000 to 20,000 units can reduce costs by 15-25% due to economies of scale in tube printing and automated filling.
