Wholesale drinking game manufacturers

Since these products come into contact with beverages and skin, you must ensure they are BPA-free and use food-grade plastics or coatings. For the US market, compliance with FDA standards is essential, while the EU market requires LFGB (Lebensmittel- und Futtermittelgesetzbuch) certification. Additionally, ensure all inks used for printing on boards or cards are non-toxic and lead-free to meet ASTM F963 or EN71 toy safety standards.

Drinking games are prone to spills; therefore, prioritize waterproof or plastic-coated (PVC/PET) playing cards and hydrophobic coatings on wooden or cardboard components. Request immersion test reports to see how materials react to alcohol and moisture over a 24-hour period. For mechanical parts (like spinners or launchers), verify a cycle life of at least 5,000 uses to ensure longevity in high-energy social environments.

Look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer Full-Color Offset Printing and Custom Mold Injection. High-value customization includes spot UV finishes, linen textures on cards, and bespoke packaging (magnetic closure boxes). Ensure the supplier can provide OEM/ODM services with a low MOQ (typically 500-1000 units) for custom artwork to minimize initial inventory risk.

Yes, as these are 'Drinking Games,' they must be clearly labeled for Adults Only (21+ in the US, 18+ in most other regions). You must include choking hazard warnings for small parts (like dice or tokens) and responsible drinking disclaimers. Failure to include these can lead to customs seizures or significant legal liability in the destination country.

Drinking games often involve unique mechanics or copyrighted card text. Conduct a trademark and patent search before importing to ensure the game design doesn't mimic protected titles like 'Cards Against Humanity.' Always sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and an IP Protection Clause with your supplier on Made-in-China.com before sharing custom designs.

Game sets can be heavy due to dense paper or wooden components. For orders exceeding 2 CBM, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most cost-effective method. To reduce costs, ask the supplier to optimize packaging dimensions to fit more units per carton, and ensure they use double-walled corrugated boxes with moisture-proof inner liners to prevent mold during long transit times.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Never pay the full amount upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is recommended. Additionally, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify quantity and quality before the final payment is released.

In mass printing and plastic molding, a small percentage of defects is common. Negotiate a defective allowance (usually 1-2%) where the supplier provides extra units for free, or a credit note policy for any units that arrive damaged. Ensure the warranty period covers at least 6 months from the date of arrival at your warehouse.
