Cat bag manufacturers

When sourcing cat bags, prioritize High-Density Oxford Fabric (600D or higher) for scratch resistance and Reinforced Mesh (rubberized or vinyl-coated) to prevent escapes. Ensure the bottom features a Removable PE Support Board to prevent sagging, providing a stable base for the pet. For transparent models, specify Food-Grade PC (Polycarbonate) with multiple Ventilation Eyelets to ensure structural integrity and airflow.

For the US market, products should be Lead-free and Phthalate-free, complying with CPSIA standards. For the EU, REACH certification is essential to ensure no harmful chemicals are in the dyes or plastics. If targeting air travel, the design must meet IATA (International Air Transport Association) requirements, including specific locking mechanisms and ventilation on at least three sides.

For the pet, look for Expandable Compartments that increase space by 50-80% during rest. For the owner, ensure the bag has Thickened S-shaped Shoulder Straps and a Chest Buckle to distribute weight. High-quality suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide Load-Bearing Test Reports; a standard backpack should safely hold at least 8-10kg (17-22 lbs) without seam failure.

Top-selling features include Built-in Safety Leashes to prevent bolting, Self-Locking Zippers that cannot be pushed open from the inside, and Side Access Portals for comforting the pet. Additionally, Foldable Designs are highly preferred by B2B buyers to reduce Shipping Volume (CBM) and storage costs.

Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Focus on the Zipper Pull Strength and Seam Reinforcement. You should also ask the supplier to provide a Smell Test Report, as strong chemical odors from cheap glues or plastics can lead to high return rates and potential pet respiratory issues.

Negotiate based on Tiered Pricing; for example, a 500-unit order may yield a 10-15% discount compared to the MOQ. Request OEM Customization (such as private labeling) to be included in the unit price for orders exceeding 1,000 units. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Services to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment.

Cat bags are often 'light cargo,' meaning you will be charged based on Volumetric Weight. To optimize costs, choose Vacuum Packaging or Flat-Packed Designs to maximize container utilization. For small trial orders, Air Freight is fast, but for bulk stock, Sea Freight (FOB terms) is the most economically feasible method to maintain healthy profit margins.

Verify the supplier's Business License and Audit Reports on the platform. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts; instead, use Escrow-based payment systems. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the Defective Rate Allowance (typically <2%) and the specific Compensation Terms for damaged goods.
