Urinal screens deodorizer manufacturers

When sourcing urinal screens, prioritize EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) material, which is eco-friendly and flexible enough to fit various urinal shapes. Ensure the screen features long-lasting fragrance technology (typically 30-60 days) and a bristle or protrusion design that effectively reduces splash-back by up to 90%. For high-traffic areas, verify the anti-clogging mesh density to prevent debris like cigarette butts or gum from entering the drainage system.

Buyers must ensure products comply with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) for the European market and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations for the US market. It is critical to request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) from the supplier to verify that the fragrances used are non-toxic and non-corrosive to plumbing systems.

Calculate the cost-per-day of freshness rather than just the unit price. High-quality screens may cost more upfront but last 60 days, whereas cheaper alternatives may lose scent after 15 days. Look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer tiered pricing for MOQs of 500-1,000 units, which can typically reduce the unit cost by 15-25%. Additionally, consider private labeling (OEM) to increase brand value for janitorial supply businesses.

Fragrance selection should align with the environment: Citrus or Mint are preferred for high-traffic public restrooms (stadiums, malls) for a 'clean' perception, while Lavender or Ocean Breeze are better suited for office buildings or hotels. Color-coding (e.g., Blue for Ocean, Red for Apple) helps maintenance staff quickly identify when a screen needs replacement based on visual cues or scheduled rotations.

The primary risk is customs seizure due to improper chemical labeling. Ensure the supplier provides GHS-compliant labeling and accurate HS Codes (typically 3926.90 or 3307.49). Another risk is fragrance leakage or evaporation during long-term sea transit; insist on vacuum-sealed individual packaging to preserve the shelf life during the 30-45 day shipping window.

Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) and specify that the fragrance intensity must match the approved gold sample. Negotiate a quality guarantee clause where the supplier compensates for any batches that exhibit 'sweating' (chemical leaching) or brittle plastic within 6 months of storage. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to protect your payment until the goods pass quality checks.

Since urinal screens are lightweight but bulky, LCL (Less than Container Load) sea freight is usually the most cost-effective for mid-sized orders. However, if you are testing a new fragrance, Air Freight is viable for small volumes. Ensure the outer cartons are double-walled corrugated fiberboard to prevent crushing, which can damage the anti-splash bristles.

Always check the supplier's Audit Reports and Business License on their profile. Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site verification by third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek. Avoid direct wire transfers to personal accounts; always use official corporate accounts linked to the company name listed on their export license.
